Fairy Tail was quiet. The air was peaceful, without some of the other more boisterous members there to liven up the atmosphere. Days like this came rarely. They were almost non-existent, in fact. If anyone were to visit the guild, they'd be quite surprised at how empty the hall was.

A sudden rise in jobs had been surprising, to say the least. The latest worldly disaster had caused much distress, and as usual, the members of guilds were sent to clean up the mess and to lend a hand when needed. It was easy money and a little bit of hard work, but that had never stopped the guild before. Fairy Tail was more than happy to lend a hand to the citizens of magnolia, and other cities.

The guild was not entirely left unattended, however. That would be ridiculous. A guild should never be left unattended - there was always those sneaky little scoundrels who'd come in and muck everything up.

Freed had been beyond surprised when he'd been asked to stay behind. He'd been mortified. The entire Raijinshuu was out, without him. Laxus had been the one to suggest it, creating the ridiculous assumption that Freed was not actually needed for the job they were aiding with. 'Preposterous,' he thought, as he leaned upon the bar counter, chin resting in the palm of his right hand. His face held a somewhat sour expression, but the few remaining wizards didn't question it. It wasn't often that Freed was sat alone, and so it was obvious he was a little ticked off about being left behind.

Lisanna wiped down the bar counter in front of him, offering him a small smile, to which he returned with his continued sour expression. She took no offense from it, and instead, placed a glass of water down in front of him. "Don't worry about it," she spoke to him in a somewhat soothing tone, her motherly nature seeming to creep out a little. "Besides, you might be needed here. Perhaps something will crop up."

Freed scoffed slightly, letting out a sigh. "Nonsense. Nothing of interest is happening here. I have no purpose being here. They must think me useless," his mouth tugged into a frown. "Perhaps I am."

Just as Lisanna was about to pipe up about him not being useless as all, Freed was distracted by a taller body pressing against his back. Had he not been facing the counter, he might have been knocked off his stool. Upon feeling a chin resting on the top of his head, he instantly knew who it was. "You're still here?" He questioned, eyes drifting up, to where they could only make out a few strands of soft [hair colour] locks.

"I was sleeping," the voice resonated atop Freed's head, sending a few little vibrations into the male's skull. Arms were wrapped around Freed's waist, to which he didn't bother retaliating. "And then I was eating. And then sleeping again."

"Lazy, as always," Freed scoffed, rolling his eyes. Even so, the tiniest of smiles crept onto his lips. Lisanna had issued a tiny giggle, before moving away from them, making to clean the rest of the bench.

"Judgmental, as always," the taller male resting upon him responded. "You did your hair nicely, today."

"It won't be nice the longer you decide to have your head on it," Freed chuckled, gently leaning back to coax the male off him. The taller man did as he was told, yawning tiredly as he pulled himself off Freed's back and head, his arms dropping to his sides. "Fine, fine. You just seemed like you'd be comfortable, so I thought, why not?"

"It's a good thing you're cute, [Male Name], otherwise I might have drove a sword through your gut."

"Harsh," [Male Name] cracked a smirk. He stretched his arms slightly, before pulling himself down onto a bar stool beside Freed. "When I was walking over," he quickly changed the subject, reaching over to steal Freed's glass of water. "You seemed angry," he gently picked up the glass, and took a drink from it. Freed didn't even bat an eyelash as the drink was safely put down again. "I'm assuming you were asked to stay behind?"

The mere question caused Freed's eyebrows to knit together in anger. He put his head back in the palm of his hand, and leaned on the counter top. "Apparently I wasn't needed," he responded coldly, his free hand reaching up to twirl a strand of his emerald hair around his finger. He always did get fidgety when he was worked up, a trait that [Male Name] had come to love.

"I think it's good that you've been asked to stay behind," [Male Name] quirked an eyebrow in amusement as Freed's blue orbs twitched to him, flaring up in anger. "You what?! What, do you think I'm useless?!"

"Pipe down," [Male Name] responded, laughing softly. He paused so that he could shuffle his stool closer to the smaller male's, close enough so that their sides were pressed together. Freed pouted and turned his head away, puffing his cheeks out like an annoyed little toddler. Even so, when the contact came upon his side, his cheeks turned a little on the pink side.

"I do not think that you're useless," [Male Name] slid one arm around Freed's waist, which brought up an even pinker shade in Freed's cheeks. "But, put it this way..."

The green haired male flicked his eyes towards [Male Name], quietly waiting for his words. He took note of the soft little smile on [Male Name], and the way his eyes seemed to be shining at him. "Put it what way?" He asked, voice lowering into a questionable tone.

"Instead of going out there, you can stay here with me and laze around all day."

Though the suggestion seemed rather appealing, Freed issued a small laugh. "You laze around everyday."

"But not with you," [Male Name] was quick to respond, pulling Freed a little closer so that he could place a quick kiss on his forehead. Freed reacted with a soft smile, his cheeks flaring up pink as he looked away bashfully. "And besides," [Male Name] rolled his eyes, laughing playfully. "I do not laze around everyday."

"Do too," Freed giggled, pushing [Male Name]'s chest away playfully. "You sleep, eat, drink, and then sleep again. I rarely ever see you going out on jobs."

"Ah," [Male Name] offered him a grin. "But perhaps I always stay here for that chance that I'll get to see you." Now that was smooth. Real smooth. But now, it was time for the guilt trip. "But you're always out with Laxus," [Male Name] pulled his body away from Freed's, a change that the green haired man did not like. "I mean, if you like Laxus more than me, then maybe I'll just go join another guild."

And the sad thing was, was that Freed believed him. In an instant, he grabbed onto [Male Name]'s sleeve, worried eyes staring straight into [Male Name]'s fake serious gaze. "Nonsense! You could never be replaced--! I-- You can't leave!" His voice had heightened in pitch in his distress, and [Male Name] couldn't help but laugh when he was done.

"Psssht, I wouldn't leave you," he chuckled, reaching up to pat Freed on the top of his mossy green head. "Come here," he paused, placing his hand on the back of Freed's head so he could pull him closer. He placed a feather-light kiss upon the tip of Freed's nose, to which Freed stared at [Male Name] with an annoyed gaze and blushing cheeks. "You shouldn't mess with me like that! I was worried that you'd actually leave me!"

[Male Name] laughed softly and shook his head. "You're too gullible," his hand moved from Freed's head to his chin. "Here," he smiled and leaned forward the last few little centimeters, pecking Freed's lips. "Surely you know by now that as long as you're here, I won't be far behind."

Freed nodded, smiling bashfully as his cheeks reddened. "I'm happy to hear that. M-Maybe I should stay behind more often."

"I don't think I've ever heard you say a better statement," [Male Name] smiled brightly, placing one more kiss on Freed's cheeks.
One Shot commission for Ace-Takahashi

It was actually done a lot sooner than I thought it would be wow-
Anyway, I deeply apologize for any spelling and grammatical issues. I edit everything myself, I'm lazy as shit, and well, yeah. Perhaps I should ask if anyone wants to edit my things before I post them. Eh.

I really hope you like it!
I tried to make Freed as uke as I could, without making him too out of character. He's still pretty out of character, I think, but I hope he's alright.
Freed has to be one of my favourite characters from Fairy Tail, though. He's awesome! Though my favourite character will always be Lyon Vastia aaaah-

If you could send over the points now, that'd be great c:

I rarely ever actually include any kisses wow-
Well done me-
Lucky Freed-
